High School Programme
About the Programme
Our immersive High School Programme offers international students the unique opportunity to experience what it is like to study in a British school and live with a family in the UK and other countries, while improving their language skills and cultural awareness.
The High School Programme is aimed at students aged 14–18 who wish to have this life-changing international experience.

International students participate in the same classes as native students, and will have the chance to make new international friends.

High School Programme Options
UK Programme
For those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the environment of a British school or continue their education in the UK. You can participate in the same classes as your British classmates for 11 or 22 weeks.

Best suited for individual students, with a B1 level of English or above.
International Programme
The International Programme takes students outside of the UK to study in other areas of the world, immersing them in fascinating new cultures.
Ideal for those who wish to develop skills in another language, in addition to English.
Programme details
A typical UK school day

Breakfast with host family.

Assembly - the whole school meets together in the hall with the teachers.

Lessons according to the British curriculum, e.g. Geography, History, Arts & Crafts, Math etc. (all lessons in English).

Hot lunch at the school canteen (Mon-Fri).

Students continue with the school day.

Return to host families for dinner.
Requirements

All British students have to wear a school uniform, but not all schools require this of the High School Programme students; this will be confirmed after booking is complete.

Some schools require students to have certain coursebooks for some of the classes (usually one or two). This will be confirmed before the beginning of the term.

English Language Requirements

Students should be confident enough in their English to be able to follow the lessons and keep up with classes that are taught by native speakers.

We currently recommend at least B1 (Intermediate) or an equivalent level of English, as laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages.
